Eight NKY teams ranked by Associated Press, including 3 in 5A

Eight teams from Northern Kentucky are ranked in the Kentucky Associated Press high school football polls.

Three of them are in Class 5A after Highlands re-entered the poll at No. 10 following its win over Boone County last week. Cooper moved up to eighth after routing rival Conner 43-7 last week. CovCath and Highlands renew their historic rivalry this Friday in Fort Thomas.
