Update: Running back Samaje Perine, who had his first receiving touchdown as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, was placed Monday on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, along with guard Jackson Carman.
From The Enquirer's Kelsey Conway via Twitter:
Earlier: Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow's sixth consecutive completion was a 4-yard touchdown pass to Perine to give the Bengals a 7-0 lead following Evan McPherson's extra point, with 1:15 left in the first quarter Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Paul Brown Stadium.
The 10-play, 51-yard scoring drive was one of two big highlights of the opening quarter for the Bengals, along with cornerback Chidobe Awuzie's interception of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and 42-yard return.
Reactions:
Bengals fans held their breath when Burrow took a big hit at the end of a scramble during the second quarter. He hooked up with rookie Ja'Marr Chase for a 70-yard touchdown a short time later. Burrow went to the hospital after the game with a possible throat contusion.
