Boston Red Sox outfielder Kyle Schwarber's home run to right field off of New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole in the third inning of Tuesday's American League Wild Card matchup between the archrivals brought back memories of Schwarber's homer to right off of Cole in the third inning of a National League Wild Card matchup between Schwarber's Chicago Cubs and Cole's Pittsburgh Pirates in 2015.

Schwarber homered six times in 79 career postseason plate appearances for the Cubs. Five of those homers came during the 2015 postseason.
Schwarber is among many Greater Cincinnati connections to Major League Baseball's 2021 postseason.
