Mike Edwards has two pick-sixes at Tampa Bay defeats Atlanta

Mike Edwards, the Winton Woods High School and University of Kentucky grad currently playing safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, pulled off a rare feat for a defensive player – scoring two touchdowns in one game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Mike Edwards (32) intercepts a pass by Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan that was intended for wide receiver Russell Gage (14) and returns it for a score during the second half of an NFL football game Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, in Tampa, Fla.

Edwards returned a pair of interceptions for touchdowns Sunday in the Buccaneers' 48-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Both of Edwards' scores came in the fourth quarter and helped put the game away.
