Mike Edwards, the Winton Woods High School and University of Kentucky grad currently playing safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, pulled off a rare feat for a defensive player – scoring two touchdowns in one game.
Edwards returned a pair of interceptions for touchdowns Sunday in the Buccaneers' 48-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Both of Edwards' scores came in the fourth quarter and helped put the game away.
Edwards, who was part of Tampa Bay's Super Bowl winning team last season, had two career interceptions entering Sunday's game. He became the first player since 2012 to have two pick-sixes in the same game.
