Lions interview former Bengals WRs coach James Urban for OC

The Detroit Lions interviewed Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach and former Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers coach James Urban for their offensive coordinator position on Wednesday, according to a report via Twitter from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

James Urban with Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in 2019.

Urban was the Bengals' WRs coach from 2011 to 2017 under then-head coach Marvin Lewis. Urban left Cincinnati in Jan. 2018 to become the Ravens' QBs coach.

Lewis - who is returning to the Arizona State Sun Devils as special assistant to head coach Herm Edwards - spoke to the Lions earlier this month about their head coaching vacancy, per multiple reports.

The Lions announced Wednesday morning that they've agreed to terms with Dan Campbell to become the team's new head coach.
