A rain and snow mix will overspread the area late this afternoon through early tonight, the National Weather Service said.
Temperatures will be in the mid-20s Thursday morning and may rise to a high of 41 degrees. There is an 80% chance of precipitation, mostly after 4 p.m.
"Both Cincinnati (KCVG) & Columbus (KCMH) are at 701 consecutive days w/ temp staying above the single digits. All-time records at both sites is 711 days. It'll be tough to get thru next 10 days without a single digit temp observed at either site. Only time will tell," the National Weather Service said in a Tweet.
