Some of those who made mention on social media of the Kevin Youkilis sighting late in CBS' Super Bowl LV broadcast weren't aware that Youkilis is the brother-in-law of Tampa Bay Bucs quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady.
The former Sycamore High School and Cincinnati Bearcats standout was on hand - surrounded by members of Brady's family - at Raymond James Stadium as Brady's Bucs completed a 31-9 rout of the Kansas City Chiefs.
It was Brady's fifth Super Bowl MVP award and seventh title.
Brady's sister, Julie, married Youkilis in 2012.
Youkilis paid tribute to his father, Mike - a former Knothole Baseball coach, UC graduate and baseball fan who died last July - during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show."
Youkilis, a three-time All-Star for the Boston Red Sox, is a UC Hall of Famer and a Sycamore High School Hall of Famer who had his No. 36 retired by the Bearcats in 2015 and his No. 13 retired by Sycamore in 2017. He owns Loma Brewing Company in Los Gatos, Calif.
