Cintas Center is about to feel a little more like a home-court advantage again.
Starting Saturday when Xavier University's men's basketball team hosts the University of Connecticut, Cintas Center will be allowed to host 922 fans after the Ohio Department of Health concurred with the Cincinnati Health Department's approval of Xavier's variance request, but at a lower capacity than requested.

Xavier submitted the request back in October but it was only recently approved for 9% capacity, which is a maximum of 922 fans, Xavier told The Enquirer.
Prior to Saturday, the Musketeers were only allowed to admit approximately 300 fans inside Cintas Center for home games.
Fans will still be required to socially distance and wear masks except when eating or drinking.
