The two home runs Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto hit Wednesday night against the Braves in Atlanta gave him 13 homers in his last 17 games, and 25 for the season.
Votto's second homer was a two-run shot that tied the game in the top of the 9th inning - after the Reds had trailed 5-0 through five innings - of the Reds' 8-6 loss in 11 innings. Both homers scored Nick Castellanos.

Social media reactions:
Votto's homers also moved him past Pete Rose into third place on the Reds' all-time RBI list. And earlier, Votto tied Ty Cobb for 53rd in Major League Baseball history in walks.
