There is still some uncertainty of the track of this system.Currently, a winter storm watch is in place for the area’s extreme southeastern counties, like Adams in Ohio and Mason and Robertson in Kentucky.“It’s entirely possible that -- in time -- we could see this watch expanded or see an advisory put up for the rest of the area. I don’t think at this point the snow is confined to those southeast counties.”Confidence right now is low to medium on snowfall amounts, Robinson said, as things could easily shift in coming hours. In the Tri-State, some could see 1 to 3 inches of snow in some areas, and portions in the southeast could see more, Robinson said. There is still a lot to figure out before those figures become final, and the track is far from certain.At this time the greatest potential for accumulations remain southeast of Interstate 71. Impacts would be greatest Thursday. “We’re still trying to fine-tune the details as we are going to be right on that fence again with this storm system,” WLWT's Kevin Robinson said.We will finally head back closer to freezing on Saturday with some sunshine and highs around 30. Expect some rain showers on Sunday with highs in the upper 30s and possibly reaching 40 by Monday as our bout of arctic cold comes to an end next week.
