Trevor Bauer and Noah Syndergaard delivered some Friday night Twitter beef with an exchange that appeared to start with the New York Mets pitcher nicknamed "Thor" mocking the Los Angeles Dodgers' recent addition for his apology earlier this month to Mets fans:
Bauer won the first National League Cy Young Award in Cincinnati Reds' history last season.
Bauer also recently shared a message via Twitter with Dodgers' fans: that he's excited to meet and interact with them, but wants people to respect his personal space.
Bauer agreed to a reported three-year deal worth $102 million with the Dodgers.
With Bauer's departure from Cincinnati, the Reds receive a compensation pick after the first round of the 2021 MLB Draft (likely No. 30 overall).
In his 11 regular-season starts for Cincinnati in 2020, Bauer led the league in ERA (1.73) and WHIP (0.795).
