An investigation is underway at Fairfield High School after a student was found in possession of a knife and two different types of ammunition, school officials said Monday.A text message from the school district went out to families Monday so that school officials could inform them of the incident.Fairfield school officials said the student "will be handled in accordance with the school's code of conduct."School administrators are also working closely with the Fairfield Police Department as they continue to investigate but said at this time, they have not received any threats to the school."Maintaining a safe and secure environment will continue to be our priority as we work through this situation," school officials stated in the message.
