2 dead, 3 injured after shooting in Evanston


Two people are dead and three others are injured after a shooting in Evanston Sunday evening, according to police. It happened around 6:40 p.m. when Cincinnati police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3600 block of Idlewild Avenue. Officers at the scene found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, identified as Andrew Wesley, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the three other victims were taken to UC Medical Center. The identity of the three surviving victims are not being released at this time, police said.The shooting investigation led officers to 2500 block of Victory Parkway, where a second victim, Brittany Wagoner, 28, was found dead. No suspect information has been released. Anyone with information is asked to call 513-352-3040.
