The Loveland police officer who resigned from the department last week was charged with two counts of rape on Friday, according to Hamilton County court records.
Anthony Pecord turned himself in at 3:45 p.m. Friday, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Court documents say Pecord raped a man in Miami Township on Jan. 24. Pecord "substantially impaired" the man by drugging him before the rape.
The victim was unable to consent due to his intoxicated state, documents say.
Pecord was a Loveland Police Officer at the time of the assault, officials said.
Pecord was placed on paid administrative leave the next day, according to a letter from Loveland Police Chief Dennis Sean Rahe. The department announced allegations of Pecord's "off-duty conduct" on Feb. 26.
"Our focus and concern has been, and continues to be, for the safety and well-being of the injured party," the statement read.
Pecord came to the Loveland Police Department in 2009, according to its website. He served as an evidence technician and field training officer. Pecord had multiple reprimands in his personnel file for using inappropriate language in the office and with the public, and records show he did not complete a training on working with victims of sexual assault.
Pecord is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Saturday.
