A Cincinnati animal shelter is in urgent need of people willing to foster or adopt dogs.Cincinnati Animal CARE posted on Twitter Friday saying the shelter "is getting absolutely hammered" with stray dogs coming in on Friday.According to the shelter, 62 animals have entered Cincinnati Animal CARE in the last 24 hours.The shelter remains at Code Red, which means its shelter population has exceeded its number of kennels.Cincinnati Animal CARE is a no-kill organization, and they keep one dog per kennel for the safety of the animals and staff.They are open every day from noon until 6 p.m. in Northside at 3949 Colerain Ave.There are no appointments necessary to meet dogs in-shelter.To see all adoptable dogs, click here.
