Authorities have identified a woman struck and killed by a car while crossing the street in Butler County. It happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday along State Route 122 near Trenton Franklin Road in Madison Township.According to officials with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, 70-year-old Linda Biser was crossing State Route 122 when she was struck by a northbound vehicle. Biser was pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband of 35 years said she had a huge heart and was deeply loved.He called her his twin soul.Friends can't believe she's gone. "She left a huge impression on everybody. If you met her, you definitely didn't forget her," said Alicia Merrow.Merrow has known Biser since 2015 when she joined her club, The Ohio Valley Lady Riders. "She was like the mom of the group. The mama bear. She was one of the oldest members we have," she said.At 70 years old, she show no signs of slowing down. Each summer she traveled for group retreats and often showed up with a different hair color."If you didn't know how old she was you would have thought she was a teenager. She was a spitfire," said Merrow.While hearts weigh heavy with the loss, memories of Biser only result in joy. "You'd just look at her and you had a smile on your face," said Merrow. The driver of the northbound 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was not injured, officials said.“These cases are always tragic for all involved,” a statement from Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones reads.The investigation is ongoing.
