Cincinnati's Caty McNally will make her third Western & Southern Open appearance this year. The Madeira native was awarded a wild card to the event on Wednesday evening.
McNally will join the previously announced 87-person player field on Aug. 14-22 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center for the tournament.
This season, McNally reached the quarterfinals in Guadalajara and advanced to the Round of 16 on two other occasions. In her career, she owns two titles on the ITF circuit.

At 19-years-old, McNally will be the second-youngest player in the field, behind 17-year-old Cori "Coco" Gauff. McNally and Gauff, known by "McCoco" on the doubles court, have won three titles together.
In 2018 juniors play, McNally was a runner-up at the French Open, losing to Gauff, and a quarterfinalist at Wimbledon.
The teenager will join a field stacked with five former Western & Southern Open winners and 13 Major champions.
