Tuesday's Johnny Bench Awards Luncheon at the Bally Sports Club at Great American Ball Park honored top baseball and softball catchers from college as well as regional high schools.

• Madison Jellison – Watkins Memorial High School (softball)
• Trey Pancake III – South Range High School (baseball)
Top high school catchers from Kentucky
• Sydney Melton – Lyon County High School (softball)
• Matt Klein – Trinity High School (baseball)

• Sarah Stone – Bedford North Lawrence High School (softball)

Earlier this week, the National Baseball Hall of Famer and former Cincinnati Reds and Big Red Machine great talked to Reds Hall of Famer Sean Casey on Casey's "The Mayor's Office" podcast.
Earlier this year, Bench invited competition from anyone willing to take on the Johnny Bench Challenge, a nod to the famous photo taken during his playing career in which Bench held seven baseballs in one hand.
