Kings tops Division II, Wyoming Division IV

With the regular season now over and the OHSAA playoff pairings released, the Ohio Prep Sportswriter's Association released a final media football poll Monday.

Despite Moeller taking the Southwest District, Region 4, Division I top seed by computer, Ohio media voted 8-2 St. Xavier as the top-ranked local team at No. 6. At 8-1 Lakota West is No. 8 and 7-3 Moeller finishes the regular-season poll at No. 10.

Princeton, at 9-1, finished just out of the top 10 at No. 11.

In Division II, even though the OHSAA computer gives Piqua the No. 1 seed, Kings was voted No. 1. Also receiving votes at No. 12 overall was 8-2 Anderson.

Badin's 9-0 Rams are at No. 2 in Division III behind 10-0 Chardon. Monroe also received votes to finish at No. 12.

Division IV continues to belong to 10-0 Wyoming, while 8-1 Clinton-Massie is at No. 4 and 8-1 McNicholas is No. 8. In Division V, Taft finished just out of the top 10 at No. 11. The Senators are 7-2.

No Greater Cincinnati teams garnered enough votes for representation in Divisions VI-VII.
