With President Joe Biden in town on Wednesday, traffic is going to be a no-go in Greater Cincinnati.
Biden will travel to Cincinnati for a CNN town hall so expect heavy traffic and rolling roadblocks on Wednesday evening.
CNN anchor Don Lemon will moderate the event. It will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. on CNN and will cover a range of topics, including COVID-19 and the economy.
It will be the president's first visit to Cincinnati since taking office and his third trip to Ohio.
The location of the event has not been released as of Monday morning. Neither have travel plans for the president's motorcade.
It's hard to say exactly where traffic will be impacted, but expect slow movement on I-75, I-71, I-275 and I-471.
So everywhere.
Cincinnati Police said they encourage the public to monitor traffic reports between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they would update the media in real-time for major roadway closures.
In addition, FC Cincinnati plays Atlanta United at 8 p.m. Wednesday at TQL Stadium in West End.
The Federal Aviation Administration has issued temporary flight restrictions around Greater Cincinnati from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 3 a.m. Thursday for VIP movement.
Presidents have flown into both Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport and Lunken Airport in the past.
Between the presidential arrival, ongoing construction on the Brent Spence Bridge and an FC Cincinnati home game that night – it's safe to say the roads will be clogged.
