Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Marvin Jones, a free agent who turned 31 last week, is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to multiple reports Tuesday.
Jones, who played for the Bengals from 2012 to 2015 and has played for the Detroit Lions since signing as a free agent in 2016 for $40 million over five years, had a career-best 76 catches last season for 978 yards with nine touchdowns.
The deal reunites Jones with Jaguars offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who was the Lions' offensive coordinator the past two years.
Social media reactions:
Jones had 134 receptions for 1,729 yards with 15 touchdowns in three seasons of action with the Bengals. His quarterback during that time, Andy Dalton, reportedly is signing a one-year, $10 million deal with the Chicago Bears.
