The Cincinnati Bengals are not finished adding pieces ahead of the official start of NFL free agency.
After adding defensive end Trey Henrickson Monday night from the New Orleans Saints, the Bengals added cornerback Chidobe Awuzie early Tuesday from the Dallas Cowboys and now will add cornerback Mike Hilton from the Pittsburgh Steelers, a source confirmed to The Enquirer's Tyler Dragon.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport first reported the news.
Hilton, a 27-year-old Ole Miss product, had 3 interceptions for the Steelers in 2020 (T-9 in the NFL) and allowed 32 receptions on 46 targets, according to PFF. Hilton graded out at 68.9 overall by PFF with his highest marks coming in pass rush (81.5).
As previously reported by Dragon, the Awuzie signing all but guaranteed the Bengals would not be bringing back free agent William Jackson III.
