NKY man battling throat cancer eats Skyline Chili for first time in months


If you're from Greater Cincinnati, it's no secret how big of a deal Skyline Chili is around here. To a lot of people, getting their Skyline fix is important due to how delicious it is, but what if you had to go without it for a while?Don Suckow of Union, Kentucky, has throat cancer. He spent the last several months eating from a feeding tube, so he's been unable to eat solid foods like Skyline Chili — and he's a big fan.His daughter, Alex, said one day they were driving and they passed a Skyline Chili restaurant. She said her father got sad because he missed eating Skyline so much.Suckow kept saying the first things he was going to eat when he was able to was chicken wings and Skyline.Suckow recently reached a huge milestone in his recovery — he finally got to eat what he had been craving for months, Skyline Chili!His wife, Patty Suckow, captured his first bite on camera."Oh yeah.
