A historic commencement ceremony for Cincinnati State takes place Saturday evening.The college is set to award its first-ever bachelor's degrees.The community college will award a total of 1,249 degrees and certificates, including 21 Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Land Surveying.In 2018, Cincinnati State was granted approval to offer Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in addition to associate's degrees and short-term certificates.The institution said all 21 new graduates have already obtained employment, with salaries averaging above $55,000.The virtual commencement ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. View the celebration here.
