Man flown to hospital in crash on I-275 in Symmes Township


A man was flown to the hospital following a crash on I-275 in Symmes Township Wednesday evening, officials say.According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, a 75-year-old Loveland man was driving his 1997 Chevrolet Camaro west on I-275 near the Loveland Madeira Road exit when he lost control of the vehicle. The Camaro left the roadway and rolled multiple times, entrapping the man.The man was flown via Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. He is listed in stable condition, the sheriff said.The sheriff's office said the man was wearing a seat belt a the time of the crash. Speed, alcohol and drugs are not factors in the crash.The crash shut down both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-275 at Loveland-Madeira Road for around 40 minutes.Deputies are still investigating.
