The Xavier University Musketeers are among four teams - along with the Memphis Tigers, the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Iowa State Cyclones - scheduled to headline the 2021 Preseason NIT in New York City, according to a report Monday via Twitter from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
Rothstein added that official dates and times have yet to be determined.
ESPN Events indicates that the tournament - also known as the NIT Season Tip-Off - will take place Nov. 24 and 26 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
The 2020 NIT Season Tip-Off was canceled by ESPN last October. The University of Cincinnati Bearcats had been scheduled to play in it for the first time.
