Kings Island is delaying the opening of its new luxury outdoor resort Camp Cedar due to complications with labor, material shortages and bad weather.The park, which was originally scheduled to open June 14, is now set to open 10 days later on June 24.In a statement, park officials said "Unfortunately a combination of unfavorable weather, labor and material shortages led to the delayed opening."Officials said the team is working with guests to reschedule their stay or find another local campground. Once it opens, the $27 million resort is set to be open year-round. It will have 73 cottages — with 100 more planned — and 184 full-service RV sites for those traveling with their own accommodations.There will be a bar, coffee shop, restaurant, fitness center, walking trails, fire pits and dog park on-site, as well as food truck-inspired outdoor eateries along what will be called Belize Street.Two pools, including one for adults only, also will be added. The resort is located less than a mile from Kings Island.Prices vary from $99 to $250 a night depending on the season. Some packages include tickets to Kings Island.
