A water main break at Coney Island's Sunlite Pool has delayed the park's opening and work continues on the project.
Coney Island’s 2021 opening had been pushed back by approximately 10 days due to a leak in a water main in the pool area.
The original opening date was planned for May 29, meaning the reopening date would be around June 8.
Sunlite Pool had to be "significantly drained" to complete the work, officials said.
On Tuesday, officials said that work is continuing on the water main leak at Coney Island but there are no further updates at this time. No official reopening date has been set.
