Vice President Kamala Harris will come to Cincinnati on Friday

Vice President Kamala Harris

Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Cincinnati on Friday, the White House announced on Monday.

No further details of the visit were released.

The visit will come two days after President Joe Biden's first address before a joint session of Congress to mark his first 100 days in office.

Following the speech, Biden, Harris and other top members of the White House administration will kick off a nationwide tour to tout the president's $1.9 trillion infrastructure plan, according to CBS News

It's not known whether the Brent Spence Bridge will factor in Harris' appearance on Friday.

But the 57-year-old bridge, and the $2.5 billion plan to renovate it and build a new bridge, has languished for decades as one of the nation's top infrastructure needs. Top politicians have used the Brent Spence Bridge in the past to tout infrastructure plans.

President Barack Obama spoke at the foot of the bridge in 2011 and made a plea to invest more in infrastructure.

Cincinnati.com will update this story.
