CINCINNATI (WKRC) - To accommodate people who depend on bus transportation, Metro said Wednesday it will suspend bus fares through the month of April.
The free rides start this Sunday. The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority says revenue from one month of fares is usually up to $1.6 million.
Ridership has reportedly fallen off as much as 80% on some routes because of the pandemic.
