Duke Energy Holiday Trains return to the Cincinnati Museum Center

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Holiday Junction featuring the Duke Energy Holiday Trains returns to the Cincinnati Museum Center on Nov. 8.

More than 300 train cars and 60 locomotives will stream through one thousand feet of track.

People can tour train layouts from as far back as 1904.

Kids might be delighted by Thomas the Tank Engine. Children can also take a train ride, build a snowman or get their picture taken with the polar bear, making its debut back from the library.

"This is very exciting to me, doing this, because it brings back so many memories of going downtown, standing there and getting the cookies that the employees would pass out," said coordinator Ross Wharfield. "It just flows back, it makes me proud to carry on the tradition that has been going on lo, these 70- plus years."

This is the 73rd year for the show.
