CINCINNATI, Ohio (WKRC) - The Cincinnati Zoo has named its baby giraffe and it made the announcement during the four-day old boy's debut at Giraffe Ridge.
He has been named Fennessy, after giraffe conservationist and founder of World Giraffe Day, Julian Fennessy.
Fennessy was born on June 17 to Tessa and Kimba. For the first few days Tessa and Fennessy bonded behind the scenes. Kimba will be reunited with the rest of the giraffes with in a week.
The Cincinnati Zoo is expecting another giraffe in November.
