One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Highland County on Sunday. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on State Route 138 in Paint Township around 5 p.m.Officials say Cossie Ferguson, 64, of Leesburg, was operating a vehicle when it left the side of the road and struck a ditch and a tree. Ferguson died at the scene. Troopers said Ferguson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.No other occupants or vehicles were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
