New WCPO 9 anchor Kristen Skovira to start this week

Kristen Skovira will start as a co-anchor for WCPO's “Good Morning Tri-State” on Wednesday.

“Good Morning Tri-State” on WCPO 9 (WCPO-TV) is getting a new anchor.

Kristen Skovira will replace Julie O'Neill as a co-anchor on “Good Morning Tri-State” starting Wednesday, the TV station announced in a press release. Skovira – who left Idaho News 6 in Boise, Idaho – will join Adrian Whitsett on the weekday morning show.

The Emmy-nominated broadcaster has worked at stations in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Fort Myers, Florida; Denver, Colorado and Nashville, Tennessee, according to WCPO.
