Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carl Lawson, who signed a three-year deal worth $45 million with the New York Jets in March, suffered a ruptured Achilles injury during the Jets' joint Training Camp practice with the Packers in Green Bay on Thursday, per multiple reports.
The Jets confirmed that Lawson will miss the upcoming NFL season.

Lawson led the Bengals with 5.5 sacks and 64 pressures last season, and his 32 quarterback hits were second in the NFL. He compiled 81 tackles and 20 sacks in 51 games over four seasons in Cincinnati.
