
A person was taken to the hospital Friday after he was injured in an apartment fire in University Heights.The two-alarm fire happened in the 3000 block of Marshall Avenue at around 8:10 a.m. Friday.The fire is now under control. Cincinnati Fire and FMS officials said the person taken to the hospital has serious injuries.A firefighter was also able to rescue a cat by providing it with oxygen.Crews said the fire was contained to the original apartment but there is heavy smoke damage across the entire top floor and a few apartments below the fire. Damages are expected to be around $150,000.
