Bitter cold with below-zero wind chills, more snow on the way

Update, 7:51 p.m.: All Cincinnati Public Schools students will learn from home on Thursday due to weather, officials announced Wednesday evening.

The district announced students in the blended learning model who are supposed to attend in-person Thursday will instead have class via distanced learning with their teacher. 

This includes preschool and specialized classes, officials said.

Update, 6:45 p.m.: AAA received more than 1,000 calls for emergency roadside assistance as of 6 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.

The company says 70% of the calls so far have had to do with battery and tow issues.

"Winter weather continues to wreak havoc on vehicles across the Cincinnati tri-state area," AAA wrote in a Wednesday news release.
