Rodney Harris II of Princeton signs to play football at Ohio University

SHARONVILLE—One of the top deep threats in Greater Cincinnati will take his skills to Athens, Ohio as Princeton High School's Rodney Harris II signed to play football with Ohio University Thursday afternoon.

Harris was a three-year starter for the Vikings under Mike Daniels for two seasons and this past season under new coach Andre Parker. The 6-foot-3 inch, 200-pound skywalker helped Princeton to an 11-2 mark this season.

After catching 15 passes as a sophomore and 22 as a junior, Harris responded with 38 grabs for 838 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2021.

Harris had around offers and was considered a three-star prospect according to 247Sports.com. Harris has also been a three-year starter in basketball for the Vikings and did see brief action as a freshman. He currently leads coach Bryan Wyant's hoopsters at 13.5 points and six rebounds per game.
