Veteran center B.J. Finney is entering free agency.
The Cincinnati Bengals released Finney, the team announced on Friday. Cincinnati acquired Finney in an Oct. 28 trade that sent defensive end Carlos Dunlap to Seattle. The Seahawks won the trade.

Finney appeared in just one game for the Bengals last season. Dunlap played in eight games for the Seahawks and immediately made an impact. He registered 14 tackles, five sacks and 31 pressures in eight contests with Seattle.
The Bengals, however, will save money by releasing Finney. Finney’s release saves the club $3.2 million.
Finney is entering his sixth NFL season. He started his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016 before moving on to Seattle and then Cincinnati.
