Joey Chestnut eats 68 bratwurst to win Oktoberfest Zinzinnati’s Bratwurst Eating Championship


If you stopped by Oktoberfest Zinzinnati this weekend, you might have had a bratwurst or two. But probably not 68 of them, like the bratwurst eating champion Joey Chestnut.Chestnut, a professional competitive eater, once again earned first place in the bratwurst eating competition.But -- it was close, Miki Sudo came in second with 66 bratwurst."I knew I ran into some trouble. I spilled my water and I knew Miki was in the lead, but I just had to calm down and eventually I tracked her down and I got the win by 2," Chestnut said.Chestnut will go on to compete in a pork roll eating contest in New Jersey and a pumpkin pie eating contest in Columbus.
