Cincinnati's Rose Lavelle is among a talented roster announced Thursday by the United States Women's National Team for its upcoming friendly against Paraguay at TQL Stadium, scheduled for Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
Lavelle starred for Cincinnati United Premier and Mount Notre Dame High School. She played in USWNT's 5-0 win against New Zealand at Nippert Stadium in 2017, but she's set to play at TQL Stadium for the first time.
Alyssa Naeher, Sam Mewis, Julie Ertz, and Megan Rapinoe will not play for USWNT because of injury, and Christen Press opted out to focus on her mental health.
Midfielder Andi Sullivan and forwards Sophia Smith and Mallory Pugh were added to the USWNT roster.

The squad also is scheduled to face Paraguay at Cleveland's FirstEnergy Stadium on Sept. 16.
Last month, Lavelle and USWNT earned a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
