Three owners of Papa John's franchises have closed their stores for Labor Day, according to a press release.
Kevin Ellis, Mike Hutmier and Mike Lieser have closed 36 of their locations, mostly in Hamilton County and Northern Kentucky.
“Our teams work hard to provide our famous Pizza and Papadia’s for our customers. We know in some small way it has been a source of comfort for many during these unprecedented times," Hutmier said. "While we are taking a pause on Labor Day to say thank you to our staff and give them the opportunity to relax, we will be back up and running on Tuesday ready to serve you once again.”
The store will reopen Tuesday.
