A man who confronted an NBC reporter during a live report on Hurricane Ida in Mississippi has been located and arrested, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.Police filed warrants for the arrest of Benjamin Eugene Dagley from Wooster, Ohio.It happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday when NBC reporter Shaquille Brewster was making a live report on the impacts from Hurricane Ida.That's when Dagley pulled up in his truck and started yelling at Brewster and his crew.Brewster continued his report but the man then entered the camera frame and can be seen getting in Brewster's face, yelling at him.Warrants have been issued, charging him with two counts of simple assault, one count of disturbance of the peace, and one count of violation of emergency curfew.Police said the man was traveling during the citywide curfew.After reviewing his criminal history, the police department contacted the Cuyahoga County Adult Probation Department regarding a potential violation of probation.They found he is on probation for a previous charge in Cuyahoga County. One of the conditions of Dagley's probation included restrictions on travel.Further investigation revealed that Dagley left the Gulfport area and was longer in Mississippi. On Thursday, members of the U.S. Marshals violent fugitive task force arrested Dagley in a shopping plaza in Dayton, Ohio. The task members received information that Dagley was still driving his white truck with the Ohio plate that was seen during the incident in Mississippi.Task force members located his truck in a parking lot at the shopping center and arrested Dagley once he came out of a store.
