Cincinnati High School football schedule

More Greater Cincinnati high schools are altering their football schedules amid COVID-19 protocols.

For a second week in a row, Ohio high schools are looking for games as several football teams have either had players test positive for COVID-19 or are quarantined due to existing protocols.

Bethel-Tate in Clermont County is the latest school to be affected. Coach Jeff Essig's Tigers won at Cincinnati College Prep Academy on Saturday, 20-6. Sophomore quarterback Cameron Snider had three touchdown passes, two to Wyatt Burton and one to Gauge Dunn.

Bethel-Tate has canceled its next two games due to COVID-19 protocols

Three days later, the Tigers are sidelined.

New Richmond athletic director Doug Foote acknowledged their home game with Bethel-Tate this Friday is off as he seeks a replacement. The Lions lost to Northwest 44-37 in week one and were seeking their first victory.

Likewise, Taylor AD Larry Herges says Bethel-Tate's contest with the Yellowjackets on Sept. 3 was canceled by Bethel-Tate AD Evan Shepherd. Taylor was contacted by North Canton but the four-hour drive wasn't desirable.
