With the spread of the Delta variant and the number of COVID-19 cases rising, many shows planned for 2021 are introducing new policies.
Some venues now require fans to be fully vaccinated or prove they've tested negative for COVID-19 before they're allowed entry.
If you currently have tickets for an upcoming show, check to see if it's been canceled or if there are updated policies.

Here's what you need to know if you're going to a show with new COVID-19 safety precautions in place:
What are the requirements?
Every venue has different rules, but there are similarities in what they're requiring. In most cases, attendees must prove they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and it has been two weeks since they've received the final shot.
Those who aren't vaccinated will have to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 48 to 72 hours before the event.

Recently, Dead & Company and Maroon 5 announced these requirements for their upcoming shows at Riverbend Music Center.
As did AEG Presents, which operates PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation. As of Aug. 18, attendees will need to bring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of a show to gain entry into the venue.
In some cases, you'll need to be vaccinated
While most venues are allowing those who aren't vaccinated to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test, in some cases, that won't be an option.
Dead & Company requires everyone with Pit Tickets to their Cincinnati show on Sept. 11 to prove they have been fully vaccinated. For Pit access only, a negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted.

There are also several free COVID-19 testing options for Northern Kentucky residents, including drive-thru testing at 302 W 4th Street Parking from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
Are Masks Required?
While masks are not yet required at most venues, they are strongly encouraged. Dead & Company and Maroon 5 said they encourage all guests to wear a mask for the duration of their Cincinnati shows.
Can I get a Refund?
There are opportunities to get a refund for those who aren't vaccinated and won't bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Riverbend Music Center said ticket holders can request a refund via their point of purchase beginning 72 hours before the concert.
PromoWest Pavilion said they will release information on limited refund availability closer to Oct. 1.
