Three brothers have died in an Ohio farm accident after becoming trapped in a manure pit, officials say. It happened in rural Mercer County Tuesday in the 2300 block of Coldwater Creek Road. According to our partners at WDTN-TV, brothers Gary, Todd and Brad Wuebaker became trapped in the pit while working. Gary and Todd Wuebaker were taken to Mercer Community Hospital, and Brad Wuebaker was taken to a hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. All three were pronounced dead a short time later. A preliminary autopsy showed they died by asphyxiation secondary to a farm accident, WDTN reports. It’s not clear how the men got stuck in the pit or how long they were in there.
