In the aftermath of FC Cincinnati's 1-1 draw with Orlando City SC, one of the top teams in MLS, the game itself was overshadowed by a 2-year-old and his mother.
Zaydek Carpenter, 2, of Moscow, Ohio, dashed onto the north half of the field at TQL Stadium during the Cincinnati-Orlando game on Saturday. Enquirer staff photographer Sam Greene captured images of Carpenter being scooped up by Morgan Tucker, Carpenter's mother, in a moment some missed during the live action of the match but has grown in interest since the contest ended.
The incident occurred midway through the second half of Cincinnati's eventual tie with Orlando, the No. 2 team in the Eastern Conference.

On social media, many took interest in what ended up being a playful and harmless (although still potentially dangerous) pitch invasion.
When the dust settled on the pitch invasion, Greene reported that both individuals involved still ended up having a great time.
