MaCio Teague, a former Walnut Hills High School standout guard who helped lead the Baylor Bears to a national championship in April, made his debut Tuesday for the Utah Jazz Blue Summer League team.
Teague started and scored six points with one rebound and one assist in 23 minutes in a 104-65 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Teague wasn't selected during last week's 2021 NBA Draft, but he signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Jazz - per multiple reports - a short time later.

Teague was among 40 players to attend the 2021 NBA G League Elite Camp in June, along with former Aiken High School standout Carlik Jones of Louisville - who signed with the Dallas Mavericks as an undrafted free agent and joined their Summer League roster.
Teague scored 19 points for Baylor in the national championship game in March, and announced in late April that he'd declare for the 2021 NBA Draft and sign with an agent.
Teague threw out the ceremonial first pitch before a Cincinnati Reds' win in April against Cleveland at Great American Ball Park.
Teague averaged 15.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 31.6 minutes per game last season. In March, he matched a school record with 10 3-pointers in a game in the Bears' 88-73 win against Texas Tech.
Teague, who averaged 26.4 points per game as a senior at Walnut Hills, played two seasons at Baylor and graduated from the school after transferring from UNC Asheville.
