Every NFL player should have a teammate who sings his praises like Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Mike Daniels does for quarterback Joe Burrow.
Daniels, who appeared on "Good Morning Football" in March and said Burrow is "gonna be one of the great ones," appeared again on the NFL Network show Thursday and compared Burrow to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
"You know what I say about Joe Burrow, man - that's like baby Aaron," Daniels said. "You don't see many rookies step into a locker room and you could tell. ... You would think he's like a four-year vet if you didn’t know who he was. And to have that at the quarterback position - that means he has the right type of savvy, the right type of poise that you only see from guys like Aaron. And I've been saying it since I got there: I see a lot of similarities between the two and I'm just excited to be able to be part of that, man. Like the kid's got a lot to him. He's got a lot of upside. He’s only going to get better. And you talk to 'Who Dey Nation,' they're gonna let you know: Joe Burrow is the savior, man. He really is to this organization. ... Bengals fans, they're the best. ... Let's just be honest - they haven't had a whole lot to root for yet they still show up, they're real fans. ... There was never a bandwagon. ... And you listen to them talk about Joe Burrow, it's only facts."

Daniels started 11 games in his first season with the Bengals, recording the second-most snaps among the team's defensive tackles. In March, he signed a one-year deal with the team for a reported $2.5 million.
Burrow and several of his teammates - including first-round draft pick Ja'Marr Chase - attended FC Cincinnati's game against Atlanta United at TQL Stadium earlier this week.
