Following Sunday's win over nationally top-ranked Arkansas in the Fayetteville Super Regional, the North Carolina State Wolfpack are headed to the College World Series and Moeller grad Tyler McDonough is a big part of the reason why.

The sophomore outfielder had two hits, a double and an RBI in the series against the Razorbacks.
McDonough went 6-for-15 with a home run, two doubles, five runs scored and four RBI in the regional to advance to Fayetteville.
He's now hitting .344 with 15 home runs, 20 doubles and 44 RBI to go along with 13 stolen bases this season.
Middletown Madison grad Tristan Sipple made his first postseason appearance for the Wolfpack in a 21-2 loss to Arkansas in Game 1. He struck out four in 1 ⅔ innings and gave up three earned runs. It was his season-high in innings pitched and strikeouts.
The College World Series begins Saturday, June 19 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. The finals are Monday, June 28 and Tuesday June 29 with a third game on Wednesday, June 30 if necessary.
NC State kicks off the tournament, playing Stanford at 2 p.m. Saturday. Arizona and Vanderbilt follow with the second game Saturday.
Sunday's games begin with Virginia vs. Tennessee at 2 p.m. followed by Mississippi State playing Texas.
The games will all be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
